 My Journey to Real Estate

By 2018, I had been working as a behavioral therapist for five years, earning six figures and building a career I was proud of. But even with success, I knew I wanted more — not more hours or more hustle, but more freedom. I wanted to buy my time back and create a life that wasn’t controlled by my schedule.

I didn’t come from a family in real estate, no “rich dad, poor dad” story. Just me in Miami, one of the most expensive markets in the country, determined to figure out a new strategy. I surrounded myself with investors and mentors, sat with attorneys, and studied every angle of the business. At the same time, I built and sold a profitable e-commerce shop, using those funds to invest in my very first property in 2020.

From there, I lived on a 9–3 and 5–9 schedule — therapy during the day, real estate every evening, and often flying out of state for weeks at a time to make deals happen. Within two years, I flipped seven properties, turned mentors into partners, and laid the foundation for my investment club.

Fast forward — I’ve now been part of over $21M in transactions and 37 doors acquired, building a multimillion-dollar portfolio through private money and creative financing. Today, I help busy professionals build passive income and coach new investors on locking in and stabilizing their first (or next) deal.

Outside of real estate, I advocate for mental health through the Greater Horizon Foundation, and when I’m not working, I’m usually with my dogs, traveling, or soaking up the ocean and sunshine.
